Safe to say we can now mark him as someone we do not want to draft in 2022. Good grief

The Plan at the moment:
Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).
Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell
I take it you don’t follow college ball? He was/is in the running for top 10 overall pick as a QB. I’ve never liked him for the same reasons I didn’t like Jevonte Williams (though I admit, I may be wrong about Williams, we’ll see). Anyway, he went 17-32 with 3 pics losing to Virginia Tech this weekend. His team was ranked #10 and VT was unranked. Not a good start in his campaign to go #1 overall.
This weekends QB’s that impressed me? Bryce Young and McKenzie Milton (really cool story with this kid)

I don’t know how you could have anything against Williams, his college work is as legit as it gets. He wasn’t just making some D3 boys look bad he was shitting on big programs and plays in the ACC.
As far as Howell I’m not going to write him off yet but it definitely wasn’t a good look by any means for a guy whose talked of as one of them GUYS to play that poorly vs v tech who definitely plays hard every now and then but you should be 10 for a reason….. and win those game’s
Kenoy, what do you think of the Cincinnati QB?
Regarding Howell, do you think that he can bounce back and be a top pick?
I'm fully out on Howell. I think he'll bounce back a little bit, but if he's a top pick, I think it's because the QB position is overvalued.
I don't follow Cincinnati as closely, only because they play in the AAC. They aren't on TV much. But I'll def watch them when they play Indiana and Notre Dame on back to back weeks (18th and Oct 2). ND will be nationally televised, not sure about Indiana. I'd love to compare notes if you can catch the games

Bold strategy, Cotton.

Draft
1st round— Cooper Dejean CB
2nd round— Jack Sawyer OLB
3rd round— Will Shipley RB
4th round— Ricky Pearsall WR
5th round— Ladd McKonkey WR
6th round— Cash Jones RB
7th round— Carson Steele RB
I watch a lot of ACC games and Williams is legit. ND and Clemson are two of the best teams in the conference so it makes sense that UNC would struggle against them (even though UNC didnt play Clemson). But watching Williams in other games he dominated a way a RB should, no question. Howell? Not really sold on him but both Carter and Williams are the real deal and UNC sorely misses them this year.
Yup Williams been legit, I don’t why people talk down on the acc but there’s plenty of great athletes on defenses in the acc. I seen what Williams did to my seminoles, I seen what he did to Miami. There’s plenty of talent on those two team’s defenses regardless of fhem losing game’s.
Howell lost all of his toys. Like I posted elsewhere, this will show how good he really is. Not a great start. Gimme the Bearcat
Only 3 guys will be viable for top 15 at best, but all 3 need good years to maintain that. Rattler, Coral and the Liberty kid. scouts actually don't like Howell at all, and many of them are quite sour on the 22 class in general outside the 3 just mentioned which is why the whole wait till next the year schtick always seems dumb to me.....

You could see Shough from TT and Daniels from AZ st. Make some noise going 2nd rd with good years, but the class is pretty thin overall.....Aqeel Glass is another sleeper, but he is from a small school and needs to get more accurate to see rd 2
