I like Tua but I said from the jump that I wouldn't draft him before the second round. I always thought he'd struggle in the NFL, there was enough potential to throw a second rounder at him if he somehow fell. It no way would I have ever drafted him in the first.

I'd have called that a pretty damn hot take at the time, but yeah, he's not looked great. I was sold on him in college, have to wonder how much injuries did him in.

Tua was always the Left-handed Teddy Bridgewater, I never understood the Tank for Tua … way to aim for the middle, people.

Lol Kyler Murray didn't get benched. He came into his freshman season as the backup, the starter got hurt, Kyler came in, then he got hurt, and the original starter finished out the year. That's pretty damn different than Rattler who was the starter for a whole season, came into year two as a starter, and was so bad he got benched for a freshman, whose two games have been better then any game Rattler played this year. Nice try on that comp though.

As for Aikman, I ain't researching that but I'll take your word that it was like Rattler. In which case congrats, you found one example over 30 years ago!
