What is the definition of a 'pure passing situation'?

Pure passing as defined by the maker of that chart was "a situation where data shows a pass is expected 70% or more of the time" ....I assume that is probably 3rd and distance of some sort...or 1st and 20 after a hold or something. At any rate....when that metric is applied to all QB...you see where Mahomes is on the chart.

He probably sharts a lot.

Hey Broncos fans...this one should interest you all.....Wins Above replacement DRAFTED players from 2017 to 2021. As the chart shows...KC is 1st...because Mahomes....this demonstrates that QB is kinda important and all your "best roster without QB" picks don't matter much without a QB.

But..he's on the charts?

Does it bother you that Mahomes wasn't good enough to beat an old man in the SB?
