Indeed. Three (3!) pre-season games do not equal "developed". Pats have a long road to prove or develop Jones. Not to say they can't, but that job's barely begun, much less finished.

    TOuche!
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

Let’s maybe not put Mac in the HOF just yet

Mac Jones knows what the **** he’s doing. Controls the line of scrimmage pre-snap better than any of these rookies who have played. I mean, it’s scary good.

    Yikes. Just yikes.
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

Cam Newton agrees to one-year, $10 million deal with Panthers in reunion with former team

Cam Newton is back in Charlotte.

The former superstar quarterback who once won the 2015 NFL Most Valuable Player Award and led the Panthers to an appearance in Super Bowl 50 is again in Panther black and blue. Newton signed a one-year deal with the team worth up to $10 million, including $4.5 million fully guaranteed and a $1.5 million roster bonus, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Thursday.
