I dknt think the pats 'developed' him into a starter in 3 weeks. People mention us not having the staff to develop, but thats for mid round guys. High first rd picks come in and ball. Fields/jones/allen/whomever else would look just fine here. If we want a badass qb we have to take one in the top half of the first rd. Not towards the end or 2nd rd. Those guys develop and we don't develop them.

None of them would have seen the field in year 1 here. Fans and coaches would have given up on Allen after his 2nd year IF they even played him.

Allen led them to the playoffs his second year. Sorry Joe, but there is zero chance anyone is giving up on a QB picked in the top 10 who takes you to the playoffs in year 2.

I just think it's a myth that Denver prematurely gives up on QBs. Which QB did we get rid of that made us come to regret it later? I honestly can't think of one. If we'd taken Allen in the top 10, he'd have gotten at least 3 years to prove it.

I think Paxton, Tebow and Cutler are the only QB's we've drafted (ever) in the 1st round.

And the first two we were proven right in getting rid of. Cutler is the only one you can argue we actually gave up on too soon, but that was more McD than anything.

And I've stated, repeatedly, that we're giving up on Lock too soon. 18 games isn't enough time, IMO.

Anyway, back to Cam, since the above has been discussed ad nauseam.

Me laughing at the guys who are grumpy we didnt take a Qb in the draft and then at the same time say the Broncos dont ever develop them.

I, for one, cannot believe that refusing to get vaccinated could cause/contribute to logistical issues and make a team frustrated with you.
