Default Win total now that Theodore is the starter

Here is the schedule. Let your predictions fly assuming Ted starts and plays whole year

    New York- Win

    Jacksonville- WIN

    New York- WIN

    Baltimore- HAHA NO

    Pittsburgh- WIN

    Las Vegas- WIN

    Cleveland- LOSS

    Washington- WIN

    Dallas- LOSS

    Philadelphia- LOSS

    Los Angeles-WIN

    Kansas City- LOSS

    Detroit- WIN

    Cincinnati- WIN

    Las Vegas- LOSS

    Los Angeles- LOSS

Kansas City- WIN (we break the streak, they rest starters and we need the win to go 10-7 and maybe make wild card)

By my count we go 10-7. I really think we should and can beat philly. We match up against them well imo. But there is always a game we shit the bed so why not that one. Another game we matchup well imo is the Browns. I still give us the L, but I could see a surprise win there.
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

I think your list looks pretty good. I can see this team being anywhere from 9-11 wins, maybe even a couple more. Should have a great secondary and pass rush, and overall a good to VERY good defense, and as a group, the WR+TE+RB are probably on par with some of the best teams in the NFL, even we get just good OL and QB play, and have a good defense, we should be competitive in most games we play. Obviously, a shootout like we could get in with KC, I'm not sure we can keep up with, since I'm not sure many defenses can shut them down, but for most of the teams on our schedule, we should have a very good chance of winning.

Ceiling of 7-10 and a floor of 5-12. I don't think Lock/Teddy really changed the outcome much, except for Sutton whose fortunes just took a huge downturn. Teddy will also probably hit men short of the sticks a lot on 3rd down, where Lock would just miss them with his inaccuracy. Kind of a wash.

    New York- W
    Jacksonville- W
    New York- W
    Baltimore- L
    Pittsburgh- L
    Las Vegas- L
    Cleveland- L
    Washington- W
    Dallas- L
    Philadelphia- L
    Los Angeles- L
    Kansas City- L
    Detroit- W
    Cincinnati- W
    Las Vegas- W
    Los Angeles- L
    Kansas City - L

This defense looks great on paper, but they are going to be on the field a LOT. I predict the Broncos get swept by KC and LAC this year even if KC rests Mahomes the last game of the year - I think the team will have quit and I don't think that team will just give us a win. It's not a complete impossibility they'll be playing for a perfect season. Split the Raiders.

Let's assume Fangio doesn't blow one of the first 3 games with clock mismanagement or something and the Broncos take care of business. After that, the Broncos go on a skid losing 8 of 9. Roethlisberger has reportedly looked very good going into the year - I'm not counting him out yet nor Tomlin. It should be competitive, but it will be early in the season and Ben's arm will probably be in good shape. Outside of that Denver will struggle big time and will consistently be underdogs. Some upsets could happen, but I can't call for them. The split win with the Raiders might happen there but I'll predict it instead at home.

Cinci I'm charitably putting in the W column for now though I think that could easily be a loss with Burrow returned to form. Not particularly confident about my calling for a win over WFT either - Fitz can get hot (and also cold) and they are stout enough defensively to throttle our likely bottom-third offense. A toss up game I'm giving to the Broncos at home.

If I'm even close to correct, we'll be in prime position to select a QB again next year that's nowhere near the level of Justin Fields.

    10-7, 11-6. Pick one.

    Starting fast will be huge.

I think some of you are way overestimating the Eagles & Cowboys.

If Dak is back in full form and Zeke isn't washed up Denver won't be competitive in that game IMO, a presumed below-average Cowboys defense or not (and some seem to think they'll be much better in that area). The Cowboys are going to score and score often if Dak is healthy.

The Eagles - that game is in Denver ... and we don't know what Jalen Hurts will be other than he's dangerous on the ground. It is possible the Eagles will wind up around a .500 team at the end of the season depending on how their QB experiment goes. But Hurts should be effective extending drives, Ertz might be a problem for Denver if he's not traded, and their defense should be average to above average. In other words, good enough to stifle our offense.
