And your point? Teddy Bridgewater is not a FQB, extending him and pretending you're trying to field a contending team is garbage. Extending Teddy Bridgewater and anointing him your starter for the foreseeable future is giving up on any possibility of trying to compete with KC.

If they win 10 games they will extend TBW, he’s precisely their kind of QB.

Yeah, because the Denver Broncos are arrogant and went with Case Siemian instead of finding a franchise quarterback.

You're probably right. This franchise is inept at finding a QB other than the 2 times they grabbed all world all time great talents and the few good years they got out of Plummer.

You can't compete with KC except in a few limited scenarios. They have a guy who has played QB at the highest level ever. At the facest pace. Dude is literally the better version of John Elway. Any Reid is one of the greatest offensive minds ever.

What are you going to do? Trade up for a QB and hope he's a stud immediately? Trade for a big name QB/sign one in FA? Those are possibilities but they seem unlikely.

Last offseason I was of the mind that Fangio wasn't good enough to be a HC and Lock wasn't good enough to warrant more consideration. I thought Denver should move on from both. They did not. They delayed the rebuild. They doubled down and added more help to the secondary in FA and the draft. Do you backtrack now? What's hurt Denver a lot is the indecision and pussyfooting around. If you can get ten wins out of TBW then you might as well just try to build the Jesus roster and ride with him.

They’d get 10 wins with Lock, why not build a Jesus roster and ride with him?

No, based on the rest of the roster, a legitimate NFL coaching and the easiest schedule this team has had in decades. Also, The fact that Lock clearly outplayed TBW.

Nothing says outplayed like having one big throw based on busted coverage and failing to diagnose the defense.
