Of course he had his ups and downs, but by and large he's looked good. This isn't in dispute.

I was reading the ticker while the wife and i were out to dinner tonight and Fields isnt going to start for the Bears no matter how much he outplays Dalton. Apparently when Dalton signed his contract with Chicago (1 year, 10 mil) he also had a guarantee that he would be the starter. So my guess is the only way Fields gets to start is if Dalton gets hurt or gets cut before the season.
