not even close. he lost the job in training camp from what i saw. Then that proved itself during the course of the season over and over.

What kind of coach runs throwaway drills during the first padded practice? Thats scarier to me than all of Teddys Ints combined.

You can be a terrible judge of QB talent, but what you cant do as coach is fail to prepare or amp up your team for a real practice where people wanna hit each other.

It sounds like both guys have looked good against the backups and been more inconsistent against the starters. Maybe we just have a loaded defense and whoever starts will be fine, but I can't say I'm bursting with confidence for either guy based on what's been reported so far.

It's still early in camp and the defense usually does start looking good faster than the offense does. The next week should bring some answers.
