If throughout the discourse on this forum, there was some modicum at all, of any of you find folks having an understanding of the situation, I wouldn't have bothered to point our your collective deficiencies in understanding this.

The Broncos didn't "pass" on Fields or any other QB on draft day because they "thought they had a deal for Rodgers" or because they didn't like them.....they were not in the market to begin with.

Not entirely sure about that. Even on draft day Elway and the Broncos said that they would consider taking a QB. Now, it could have just been word speak but there is no way to know for sure but they did say they wouldnt avoid taking a QB if they felt strongly enough about that particular QB.

I think the talk of drafting a QB got shut down the moment SF traded up to 2. Lance was the QB they felt strongly about IMO

I've now learned from that just to assume all our QBs are garbage at all times! I've been beaten down by our mediocrity.

This. Paton wanted Trey Lance. Hes was #1 overall on our board. Once lynch told us they were taking Lance Paton went ahead and snagged Theodore.

I’d keep him around. He may have the KC smugness syndrome but he doesn’t troll. He genuinely believes what he posts. Which makes it fun to point out when it doesn’t end up being right. If we’d had banned him from OM I would’ve never been able to rub Flacco not being the 2020 starter back at him. He was adamant on that.

Ya and hes not always too far off. Plus, he does uphold his bets. That goes far imo. Half the fans here and om would not do that.
