Congrats, guy who doesn't live in Cleveland and doesn't like the Cleveland Indians but is "disgusted" that this team that he doesn't care about is changing their name that we all knew they were going to change eventually. You are welcome to have an opinion. It is my opinion that most people who are allowing this to outrage them probably need to go for a walk and think about their priorities.
This is not P&R, but I am not trying to silence you and I certainly have zero power to silence you, so grow a pair my friend!
Besides, it's a pretty good name that stays true to the city and its Native American heritage in a more nuanced way. Much better than the teams named after socks, and much more unique than the team named "Athletics".
Personally, I think they should've named the team the Cleveland River Fires.
I think the team was too cheap to buy more paint so they left the I-A-N-S at the end of their name and then asked themselves what word could fit.
I'll just call them the Giardia for now. Or keep calling them the Indiots.
I miss the old Mile High Stadium.
Over time certain wrongs that were mainstays in culture become corrected, it is what it is
Wtf. Why Cleveland. Why
Which team is next next?
