I'm not saying TS was some world beater. He played *competently* and was VJs scapegoat. Den was even worse then after he left. The OLine was atrocious with a cap A, and showed what 2017 was going to be on the very first play of preseason vs chicago (remember Stephenson? Ugh).
Again. I'm not a TS fan boy and not saying he is or was elite. I'm just saying he wasn't the complete problem...

I thought we might have had something when he was pressed into action against TB. It was all downhill from there.
Simien wasn’t terrible, he was just a backup level QB. It’s what it would have looked like had Elway gone down in the 80’s and we had to roll an entire season with Kubiak.
We still should have gone one more year with Case rather than bring in that bum Flacco.

Yes, in the context of we've only had terrible QBs since Manning. Ain't nobody trying to bring them back.
