If you really want to dive into chess history, some might argue Paul Morphy would be the goat if zapped to the present with all the current info. He just toyed with everyone in his day.

He played in the 1800s and many of his games still hold up to modern engine analysis.

Wave is making me tingly in all the right places. Have any of you seen that chess show. Queen Gambit I think is the name? I have not, but now with "Waves School of chess and information MF'rs" I want to watch!
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

It would solve it, but Fischer's dream is not to be.

Opening theory is a rich tapestry of human thought, but it makes becoming a chess champion much more of a grind than in Capablanca's day.

Morphy was actually who I was thinking of, not Capablanca. Although Capablanca was a bit of a renegade too. But Morphy...talk about legend.

Yeah in like 20 to 30 years. Infants, toddlers, and most pre to late teens suck at chess. I know because I've wiped the board with all 3 and I'm not really that good

After not going to a game last season, my 5 year streak ended. I definitely need to go back. Also down to Murder some hookers.
