Honestly, I think teams hit more of a stride if almost all their games are Sunday afternoons. They can develop a daily rhythm where Mondays-Saturdays have a set pattern followed by the game itself. It upsets that rhythm everytime there is a Monday or Thursday date (or a trip to London).

I just learned NY Giants will open the 2021 regular season at home against Denver Broncos. (1:25 PST,4:25 EST) kickoff at MetLife Stadium on FOX)
20 years ago, night before 9/11, Giants were in Denver for MNF. (That night, our Star WR Ed McCaffrey broke his leg. Next day, NYC was under attack on 9/11.)

This Septmeber NYG host Broncos day after 20-year anniversary of 9/11.

Interesting theory. Might turn this into a project when I have time to see if the data backs this up.

F covid for making me miss out on ATL vs Denver in London last year, F covid for making it so Denver doesn't come to London this year lol. First time I think since Manning retired we finally have a bottom ten strength of schedule. Personally I Love not having Mon or sun night games its like 230 Am over and 530 when it finishes lol. Maybe we get slept on as well with less national spotlight. Drew Or Aaron gonna style on fools next year.

Why does this team deserve respect from the league? We don't have an owner and have been irrelevant for 5 years. These ain't the Bowlen days anymore. I wouldn't put us on MNF either if I were them. No one is trying to watch Drew Lock.
