    Paton ****** up.
*** the 5th round! He traded up for a RB in the 2nd with multiple 1st round OT prospects still on the board! Good RBs are stifled when they have poor o-line play. That was a luxury pick and Broncos simply did not have that luxury. Especially when Michael Carter and Trey Sermon lasted until round 4

He was cleared to play. He came out with the not mentally ready.

That's like getting a note from the dr that you are clear to return to work but you tell your boss, I'm just not ready.

That bs don't play out well.

I think you can do that without too much blame. At that point one of the deepest tackle classes in a minute is still live.

And, if you were paying attention you’d know he traded back in the 3rd with Spencer Brown on the board.

Remind me of the injury, didn’t turn out to be legitimate and he was right to himself out, he ended up on season ending IR?

Also in his defense for this specific thing: Bridgewater has to have a live running game or he cannot function and a guy in Lock's circumstance can only be helped. Bridgewater will never (at least now) be able to win a game on his arm & Lock has a long way to go.

They are worse off because he’s a legitimate starting NFL talent, I know that means dick to Denver Broncos fans but this is a huge loss.

    Yeah, no.

He's contributed absolutely NOTHING here and had ZERO bearing on our W/L record.

Who's played 3 games in 2 years. Or, is it 12 snaps? I don't remember because he's been an absolute bust of a signing.

    Gimme a break.

    Cut, $$ saved.

    Good riddance.

Cause he wouldn't get on the field. They put him there and moved the roster spot to someone that wanted to play.

Dude wants to collect the $$$ without playing. 2 seasons in a row and wants to toe the union line, now it cost him. Do I feel bad for him as a person, sure. Do I feel bad for him as a football player, no. He's screwed the pooch long enough and John Elway was a friggen idiot for bringing him here.

This is nonsense, of course losing a starter has bearing on win/loss.

Remember this point you just made the next time you’re making (legitimate) excuses for Drew Lock.
