Id like to know more about Malik...I do not see a mike vick comp/potential. I see maybe a poor mans deshaun watson. I think he may be a better passer than Trey Lance that came out. Not as fast or as good of a runner as he though.

however, I say all of this because if we do not get Rodgers I think he is the QB we go get. So for now I am focusing all of my attention on he.
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

    My reasoning is this:

If we do not get Rodgers we will take one early and high! Due to our positioning we likely will not make it top 5. Corral is going to be the first one to go. Maybe one or two of the others. With Trey Lance not doing so much and injury concerns with Lamar a guy similar to him may fall. That is willis.

Also, we know that we wanted to take Trey lance this last draft. That was our target, but once the 9ers told us they were going Lance we made a trade for Teddy the next day. Malik is the closest to Trey Lance in this draft and imo, from my brief look he is a better passer than Trey, not as good of a runner. That leads me to believe that he is the QB that Paton will target. A lot depends how we end up draft pick wise and if we are unable to land one of the big 3 (I do not want Matt Ryan, but he would be good to bring in and have Willis dev underneath him for a year)

You don’t think Malik is as fast as Lance? Shiiiiiid he looks faster than Lance to me, Malik speed is like 92 on madden the boy can fly and he’s shifty as hell

PFF compared Willis to Marcus Vick, maybe that’s where that came from.

Btw, you need to prepare yourself for a Teddy Bedweter extension.

I saw a Jalen hurts comp. That's closer to what I see.

Teddy will not be back as a starter. No way. Paton will not do that. He might backup Rodgers, etc if we trade lock, but I doubt it.

Good news is at least Paton is looking at a good handful of QB's for next years draft.

Bad news is it's just a smoke screen for the upcoming massive Teddy extension.

“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”
