I've reread a few posts and I think you two are talking past one another.

Given my history on the board: this exchange and fight is essentially the most fitting thing that could have possibly happened.

It does not matter what the podcast is about. We are not building a business here. We are monetizing.
You cannot monetize a podcast that has no demand. What's the number one way to monetize a podcast? Sponsors. If there are no downloads of my file cabinet folder podcast and the sponsors are not getting any revenue from my podcast due to lack of listenership, there are no more sponsors and no monetization. You make it sound so easy. If it was as easy as you make it sound, everyone would be doing it and striking gold. It's not easy.

You are correct. Where you whiff, same with wave, is on the opportunity acquisition and opportunity cost. If you guys dont get it still. Learn about those two items. Learn them cold. Come chat when you have them.
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

It sounds like you're saying the opportunity acquisition is the obtaining of a chance to market and the cost is how much money/resources/whatever you put into it. So maybe you don't pay a ton of money for a small chance, but if you do it enough it'll stick?

I don't know, man. I don't know any of that shit.

If a sponsor for my file cabinet podcast pays me $100 per episode to talk about them, but they get ZERO in return for paying me to advertise because no one is ******* listening to me blabber about file cabinets OR the folders that hang in them, that sponsor will pull the plug and my podcast will fail if I cannot afford to self-fund. Sponsors WANT TO ADVERTISE WHERE THEY CAN GET A RETURN ON INVESTMENT. If there is zilch for ROI, the sponsor/investor/MARKETER/etc. will move on.

I don't know any of those names, therefore your post means nothing to me. Cool name drop though, I guess.

Close. And I give you points for at least trying.

What does a business pay to obtain 1 client? One single client within their avatar and demo/psychographics? Niching down to the avatar and demo/psycho is hard and expensive. Conversion is higher, but expensive. Opportunity cost/acquisition.
