As for your other point I am not trying to sell him on anything. I would give him free advice if he wants, but I am not going to chase someone down for something if they do not want it. I am not going to make anything from it. Just helping a friend. You have severely misinterpreted that too.

I don't know that I've ever met one of you in the wild. I probably haven't drank a pepsi in 20+ years. But I've had a coke fairly recently.

So if your claim is that you can make a nonsense podcast about nothing that will 100% fail, but still monetize it, that money is coming from somewhere. If the podcast is being started for no other reason than monetization, how is that not scamming the entity giving you said money. I might not be an expert on podcasts, but I know a scam when I see one, and that's precisely what you described. Maybe it's some soulless corporate mega-entity being scammed and that lets you sleep well at night, but you're still describing a scam!

I'm not saying UR is wrong. I'm saying I think we wanted different things and have/had different goals.

This is a fine post. I want nothing. If you want to monetize you can ask me. Its easy to do. If you do not wish to, have a different goal, stay on current endeavors that is wonderful.

I'm not above soda - just so rarely have met anyone who prefers pepsi to coke! I'm a reformed Mtn Dew drinker, so I can't really judge here.

What I really like are the funky flavored ones. Cherry Vanillia Coke is the real shit, there's a new Mango Pepsi I want to try. That's what I really want to go for on the occasion I have a soda.
