Or the Broncos go 5-12 and everyone is fired. But hey, we’ll have our DBOTF (if he’s not a bust - which isn’t an impossibility).

Whatever it cost would be worth it. Ask a GB fan if they want to be on the receiving end of a trade with Surtain coming back and see how fast you get a hell no. Even if you set it up where Surtain ends up a Pro Bowl player and not Vernon Hargreaves.

Isn’t going to happen - but it’s a no brainer.
Not sure where this is coming from, but the consensus is PSII will be a starter.

I want Rodgers and that big chip that comes with him. As long as he has it on his shoulders, count me in!

This smells like a wager. I'll take the Broncos at > 5-12 and Surtain as more than "early down/reserve" player in 2021.

If the Broncos trade for Rodgers, Surtain is almost assured not to be part of the deal. He’s already signed his contract and would be a massive cap hit on top of all the money we’d have to pay Rodgers. I ain’t saying that a trade won’t include a CB or other players and we have several good ones, but Surtain is least likely of all, IMO.

If you’re gonna look at players that are tradeable, look at young guys late in their rookie deals or guys that won’t kill us with a cap hit: Chubb, Sutton, Callahan, Patrick, Hamler, Jones, Reed, etc. Even Von could be a guy, but Surtain is extremely unlikely.

The Packers don’t need Chubb/Von, they’re deeper at Edge than the Broncos.

Between Darby and Callahan it’s an almost certainty that PS2’s backup will be a starter.

Damn broncos fans already trading away elite talent before he can even play a down for us…… now Surtain is as good as gone.

Not to mention Aaron Rodgers clearly isn’t getting traded.

    Drew Lock is done! Finito!

Get used to 3 yards per attempt with 4 less Int’s.

He was QB1 the day Paton wasted a draft pick on him.

Way to aim for the middle, Paton.

Well, you're rarely wrong on QB's so I'mma yield to you on that!

You are the only man I am aware of that called Lamar, Herbet, Allen, and Carson Palmer
