Default Could PFM save the Broncos again?

    Good morning, Broncos Country!

The Denver Broncos ownership situation is a mess.

You could say the Broncos are a mess, but let’s stick at the top. Getting a stable, capable owner in place is the first step, and that’s not been the case in the last five years.

It’s long been speculated that a sale would happen at the end of this season at the beginning of 2022 and approval coming at the NFL meetings in March. A recent report by Jason LaConfora backs that up.

“This could be quite aggressive,” an ownership source told LaConfora, noting the level of interest and how well-vetted many of those groups are.

One of the names that’s been thrown around a lot in Broncos Country is Peyton Manning. And now there’s some evidence that could actually happen.

That would be ridiculously huge in my opinion.

It is interesting how much Manning identifies as a Bronco even after a relatively short stint here. He's not nearly as connected with the Colts. He also seems to love living in Denver.

I don't think it's all that hard to understand. Elway rolled out the red carpet, trusted Peyton and his doctors, and gave him the keys to Broncos Country. He involved Peyton in decisions and gave him a voice he never had in Indy and the guy he brought a Super Bowl, built his franchise into what it is today, and even got him the money for the "house that Peyton built" unceremoniously dumped him.

Why didn't the Colts trust Peyton and his doctors? They let him walk to get going with someone else, Peyton went to two more Super Bowls, winning one. Luck never played in one.

Irsay snubbed Manning, he feels an affinity to the fans there but I doubt he ever does anything to help Irsay.

I don’t want Peyton to be hated as Elway is by the fan base once he became part of the team leadership.
The Broncos fan base don’t deserve somebody like Peyton !

“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

If you hate what Elway did as a GM you are really, really dumb. I mean, it wasn't perfect, there is certainly room for criticism, but we went to two superbowls and got a ring. Hating that is ludicrous. Gimme Pey-Pey all day

That’s kind of my point the way some fans turned against Elway the minute things weren’t working 100% year in year out. We should forever be grateful for what John Elway meant for this organization and all of his accomplishments he was able to do, in simple words; the greatest bronco in team’s history.
I don’t want Peyton run thru the ringer in the same way. Just watch...

Hey guys, let’s just agree to languish in mediocrity so nobody gets their feelings hurt.

I’ve heard very little dumber in my life
