    Default The Aaron Rodgers Watch

Is it a watch? Is this even possible? Allegedly behind the scenes this could be a reality? I will not get my hopes up, but AR changes everything. Is that why they didn't take a QB? Seems more than likely.

I agree. Plus, I don't know how much of a package we want to put together for a QB that will turn 38 in December. This is not the same as 25-year-old Watson. Rodgers would be, at best, a Manning-like stopgap for a few years. I'm not against trading for him but I'd be against selling the farm for him. I could see offering a first in 2022, a second in 2023, Courtland Sutton and a d-lineman but I don't think that will get it done unless the Packers are ready to "unpack" their star. It helps that we're in the AFC so we could get him and possibly not ever play the Packers while he's here.
I miss the old Mile High Stadium.

And unfortunately GB is behaving a lot like Houston so i do think if they do trade him it wont be cheap.

    Here's something to ponder!

Looks like a dead cap hit of around 33 mil. prior to June 2nd. Around 13 mil after for this year and next. Is there hope for his coming to Denver? This could be why no deal last night though.

I think Jaded mentioned this date too last night.

Fortunately, we only have a little over a month to be beaten down by the conviction that Rodgers will be a Bronco.

Stink alleges it was close to a deal from excellent sources and the kinks need to be ironed out.

Its possible Stink heard that Rodgers was disgruntled and just trying to poke the bear. I mean, its great that Mark is looking out for us as a former Bronco but it doesnt really mean the Packers themselves are looking to deal.

People scoffed at the idea we'd get Manning and it happened. If Rodgers is disgruntled and wants to play in Denver, Paton needs to work day and night to make it happen. Offer whatever it takes. This is a Super Bowl roster with a QB like him.
