Maybe I should type s-l-o-w-e-r. The offer was for four picks, not six. They debated a first, second and third for 2021 before the draft began, plus a 1st in 2022. Obviously, that opportunity has already come and gone. My point was they could still offer Green Bay the same four picks but a year later - a first, second and third in 2022 plus a first-rounder in 2023. Now, the one quoting the conversation never mentions that it's the Packers. For all I know it was for Watson or Dak.
I still think the Patriots are going to get Watson for a seventh, the NFL will then clear him of any punishment other than a fine and Belichick will get six more Super Bowl rings but that's just my paranoia talking.
I miss the old Mile High Stadium.
DJ had ONE GM tell him that he would stand pat and call Rodgers bluff and force him to retire...and so he's running with that theory. I guess it's an option to prove a point, but if every scenario ends with Rodgers not playing for your team...and one of them gets you a haul of draft picks and players...how to you justify not exploring the trade aspect.
