Literally his whole argument is playoff losses. Peyton had a lot of playoff failures in Indy too.

I'd just like to make the playoffs for starters....

Yep. Just get in the playoffs and anything can happen. Manning had a ton of playoffs failures in indy, 3 playoff failures here, then got us a ring. I'll take my chances with Rodgers over any of the shit we've trotted out since Manning.

I’ve found many articles were Rodgers is believed to be overrated, and those articles present their case. Again....he is no Peyton Manning. Sorry, pal, I get the Broncos are desperate, but Rodgers is just a hot chic with floppy boobs.
But how can he be overrated when he just had one of the best seasons ever and makes his lousy team look better than it is?

I don't get it - and how can he be an expensive mistake? I believe you are letting your hatred of the man cloud your mind! I cast a spell on you!

Also, keenum wasn't cheap - he was the most expensive backup QB in the league

    I’d rather have Russell Wilson.

Considering age, I'd agree! But Russ has never come close to being the overall QB that Rodgers has! But youth has advantages!

I just wish his price tag wasn’t so expensive. Doesn’t sound like GB is even entertaining trade talks.

I'd like to hear more about your take tho. I think you might have a point worth listening. And I'm in the full-on sign Rodgers camp. That dude may be a lot of off-center on things, but what he damn sure is, is this: a competitor. With mad talent. And a lot left to prove.

those articles are dumb. . . samuel jackson's wallet thinks AR is a bad MFer. . .

which probably means nothing, since it doesn't look like he's getting moved. . .
“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

Lol, Aaron Rodgers is one of the best 10 quarterbacks to ever play this game. And Donovan McNabb was no slouch.
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

GB gets Surtain, a rookie DB that didn’t fill an immediate need, will likely strictly be an early down/reserve player in 2021 - and next year’s first. Plus whatever gets the deal done that doesn’t include one of Rodgers’ primary weapons.

Denver then instantly becomes the biggest problem for KC in the AFC.

Or the Broncos go 5-12 and everyone is fired. But hey, we’ll have our DBOTF (if he’s not a bust - which isn’t an impossibility).

Whatever it cost would be worth it. Ask a GB fan if they want to be on the receiving end of a trade with Surtain coming back and see how fast you get a hell no. Even if you set it up where Surtain ends up a Pro Bowl player and not Vernon Hargreaves.

Isn’t going to happen - but it’s a no brainer.
