There’s still an alternative. GB could just fire the GM, Gutenwhatevertheshithis name is. According to the articles I’ve read that’s Rodger’s line in the sand. He really doesn’t want to leave GB, but he and the GM have a toxic relationship. So the ownership group needs to ask itself who’s more valuable to the franchise, 37 year old Rodgers or **** face GM dude that refuses to help out his all pro QB. I know what I’d choose, Gutenidiot would have been fired weeks ago. There’s tons of NFL scouting/personnel types you can hire to be your GM. Good luck finding another Aaron Rodgers.

They would never do that. Theyd never set that precedence either. The player will always walk before they cost someone their job because of disagreements.

That said, AAron wants a long term contract and they dont want to give him one. We give him a nice sexy contract and he stays sour with GB and he can be ours.
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

Any chance you make a trade with draft picks contingent?

For instance: 2 #1 picks guaranteed and a third if he's on the roster in year 3, maybe more if he's on the roster in year 5?

I think this is what CoachChaz is saying, you just say it better.

That GM’s first draft pick was Rodgers replacement, I can see why that would make things toxic. It’s not as though GB won 4 games and had the 4th pick in the draft when they picked Love.

A team can only trade picks 3 years into the future, I believe.

buckle up, boys. . . we just cut jeff driskel-- rodgers' arrival must be imminent!
“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”
