Time will tell but I look at the Browns and the Chiefs last year as an example. CEH had some amazing tape coming out of LSU and he could become a great player still. But his production was limited with a below average line, especially when Schwartz went down. Browns had a 2 headed monster! The best tandem in the league and yet they would not have been nearly as effective if the Browns didn't invest wisely in the O-line. They drafted Jedrick Wills and it took them to the next level because he was the last missing piece. Baker developed even more because he had a great o-line that could protect him and open huge holes in the run game for those backs. That's just how I see the Teven Jenkins situation, I guess.
Here's to hoping James proves me wrong and starts every game for us for the next 3 years!

He was surprised because Paton had his entire staff stay away from Surtain, no zooms no pro days no nothing, Paton said Surtain was his guy the entire off season and he played it so nobody knew what was going on, which is genius because if the cowboys had known the broncos were interested in Surtain they would have traded up ahead of Denver and then Paton loses his guy! Because Dallas absolutely wanted Surtain first and they’d a settled for horn if he was there. So Paton played this outstanding and that’s why Surtain was shocked, he cried tears of joy right after he was picked so....

It does seem we are like in bizzaro world dont it? For the first time in like EVER we are actually drafting players we need and good players to boot. Its a strange feeling. lol
