That's really not a bad couple days' work, man. I wanted an OT, but I always want an OT. I expected a QB, but whether it's Lock, Teddy B or even this Rodgers stuff, the Broncos have options. Using a 2nd to replace Lindsay is a bit rough, but Denver was not gonna use Lindsay in the same way they'll use Williams, and if they're right about Williams we'll be very, very happy.

The trade-back netted other starter-level prospects, and Denver plowed resources into the No Fly Zone as well as high-upside projects.

Could turn out really well - as long as they either have that QB to win with in the West, or can get him. Denver obviously scouted Ohio St. a lot based on their picks, so not takin the QB couldn't have been a lack of work on their part. I hope they're right.

Because this team is an impactful QB (and some health) away from being really scary the next couple years.

wait and read about it in the newspaper on monday, duh!
“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

So far the list I have is:

    Branden Mack, WR
    Drew Himmelman, OT
    Nolan Laufenberg, OG
    Adam Prentice, FB

    - Mack is kind of like Seth Williams who they took in the 6th (big WR w good hands, not a lot of quicks or great footwork to get separation).
    - Laufenberg is from the AFA, so obviously a run blocking dynamo (and not as small as a lot of AFA players, he has actual size as a guard)
    - Prentice is a FB that does FB things
    - Himmelman is a practice squad dude who will need to be taught how to use that big 6'9 frame (with somewhat shorter arms sorry Jaded but not TOO SHORT I HOPE) but should get moved to RT where IMO he'll be better suited. Just gotta put in a year or two and see what happens.

CSU WR Warren Jackson is also "drawing interest" from Denver per Troy Renck but nothing decided yet.

I wanna say Rotoworld always seems to have those up pretty darned quick. That’s where all the “friggin’ smaht kids” seem to get that info as it drops.
