It might be that my bass is too loud as I listen through my computer sound setup. I'm interested in listening some more. His playing is unreal.
    Lol.

No the name of the album you referenced on Spotify and preferably the artist.

The album was Still Listening by Jahari Stampley. It might have been recorded better was my thought. How did you hear about him?

I was surfing the internet a couple nights ago when he came up as winning the Herbie Hancock award. I had to listen.

    "A Sack O' Woe"

When I was first learning to play Jazz, I purchased a Mel Bay "How to play The Ten Greatest Jazz Solos" and one of them was this version of Cannonball's alto sax solo.

Here is another way to build a solo.

His brother is way underrated as a cornetist also.

    Been listening to this group

Mahavishnu Orchestra. Inner Mounting Flame is the debut album.

John McLaughlin wrote all the material. He played with Miles up until this group formed.

Been listening to Miles again. His Second Great Quintet.

These are The Complete Columbia Studio Recordings The Miles Davis Quintet 1965-1968 with
Wayne Shorter, Herbie Hancock, Ron Carter, Tony Williams

Dog, you once asked me about Nefertiti. Interesting album. Last fully acoustic album Miles would make. The tile track is unique too. The album is in here.
