Point being, the odds are way higher of even a young and healthy person catching and dying from covid than dying from the vaccine. 550k+ Americans have died from covid from 31 million cases. About 1/56. 74 people have died after getting the vaccine out of 80 million who have been fully vaccinated. About 1/1 million .You tell me which odds you'd rather take.
I don't think players should be afraid of the vaccine personally but I don't believe in mandating vaccine's that aren't fully FDA approved. Life is about choices for a reason. It should be made available and personally I think people should be given a choice of which one they want as well. However if a business mandates it. Its a choice then to either get vaccinated or don't play......
As for death by vaccine, that crap is media driven BS

1. With what money
From what I've read, the NFL won't mandate it but they'll strongly incentivize it. Players who get it will be able to go about the facility and interact with people with no restrictions, while people who don't will still have to mask and distance and stuff. I'd imagine the thought of doing all those restrictions for another year will be motivation enough for most players to get it.
That’s what the government should’ve done to incentivize the vaccine in the first place. Set a goal that says once x% of the population is vaccinated we’ll lose the masks and open back up fully. Even if it’s a conservatively high number, it’s something that might get those on the fence about getting it but hate wearing masks and not doing what they want, to suck it up and get the vaccine.

klis is reporting that drew lock was one of about 20 players who showed up today, so that's good. . .
- John Elway“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”
rest - https://www.9news.com/article/sports...e-b74c292e6ce4While nearly every player was present in virtual meetings Monday, many veterans are boycotting in-person workouts. Lock, Risner, Rypien among those who showed up.
ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Drew Lock told 9NEWS over the weekend he has been “radio silent this offseason” and was determined to “let my actions do the talking.”
By showing up Monday for the first day of team conditioning workouts at UCHealth Training Center, Lock’s actions said he’s going to do all he can to remain the Broncos’ starting quarterback. With his young career already at a crossroads, Lock is not about to miss a team-organized offseason program for a second consecutive year, no matter that many of his teammates are boycotting the in-person portion of the offseason program.
9NEWS photographers observed Lock, his backup QB Brett Rypien and about 20 other players show up at the Broncos’ UCHealth Training Center on Monday for virus testing, weight training and conditioning workouts. Considering the Broncos players as a group put out a statement last week stating they would not attend in-person offseason workouts, it was a decent turnout.
