A.J. Brown, D.K. Metcalf and D.B Samuel are all apparently holding out for new contracts or demand a trade. Samuel has now scrubbed all 49ers elements from his social media accounts, fwiw. Should Paton step in and offer anything for one of these three?

No we do not need any of them. We are more than set at WR.

I do not want to see the chefs end up with any of them.

    Aj
    Deebo
    Dk

    Thats how I rank them.
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

deandre hopkins has been suspended for the first six games of next year for using PEDs. . . guess we'll have to call him deandre hopped up from now on. . .
“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

Default Colin Kaepernick to work out for Las Vegas Raiders on Wednesday, sources say

Colin Kaepernick, who last played professional football in 2016 -- the year he started kneeling during the national anthem to protest racial injustice -- is scheduled to work out Wednesday for the Las Vegas Raiders, league sources told ESPN.

It will mark Kaepernick's first workout with an NFL team since being exiled, and it will be the first time the former star quarterback visits with a team since he flew to Seattle to meet with the Seattle Seahawks in May 2017 before they passed on the opportunity to sign him.

Kaepernick played at the University of Nevada, Reno, which was the only school to offer him a scholarship, and now the pro team in Nevada is the only one in the NFL that is open to giving the civil rights activist another opportunity.

Default Judge denies NFL's motions to dismiss Jon Gruden's lawsuit, move it to arbitration

LAS VEGAS -- A Nevada judge ruled in favor of former Las Vegas Raiders coach Jon Gruden on two motions Wednesday, opening up the possibility of a jury trial on his "tortuous interference" claim that the NFL and commissioner Roger Goodell selectively leaked Gruden's emails to force his removal on Oct. 11.

Judge Nancy L. Allf denied the NFL's motion to compel arbitration as well as the league's motion to dismiss the case outright. The suit will now go to trial, unless a settlement is reached. Allf gave no timeline, though, for the next proceeding.

Gruden was in attendance as his attorney Adam Hosmer-Henner of McDonald Carano made the oral arguments while outside counsel Kannon Shanmugam argued on behalf of the NFL.

Kind of an aside, but I'm fairly certain I've met one of those attorneys.

One fateful day, many, many, many years ago you were in Decatur. I was, and still am, in Springfield. And myself, and those attorneys have at least one thing in common: we've not met you!!!!!!!!
