It is what it is!

He’s good but I need to see him more in a competitive type season whether that’s in Houston or Denver or anywhere else which I doubt happens
You should seriously stop this, I’m embarrassed for you.

Negative he’s been a good quarterback, just wildly overrated and his career record is he’s a .500 quarterback. Mediocre when it come to winning.

Watson is a top 5 Qb. He is career .500 QB because of Houston and its incompetence not because of him as a player. How do you not see that......

It's galling that the poster on here defending Drew Lock with baited breath can't seem to grasp this. Watson is elite. I recall Elway going 5-11 one time too. Houston is a dumpster fire franchise that will never win anything.

After thinking about who we have on the roster and who might be available in FA and at what price, I’m really starting to hope we can work something out with Von. I don’t think anything will come out of this investigation but I don’t think the Broncos want him back at $18 mil. I hope the two sides can come together on a restructure and he can retire here. I’m still waiting to see a healthy Von and Chubb season together. I also don’t think there’s anybody close to his level in the draft or in FA. The closest would be Barrett but I don’t think he’s coming back.

The Denver DA needs to get off his ass and either charge Von or say he isn’t going to. I think that’s what’s actually holding this up. If the Broncos were already set on Von being gone, I think he’d have been released by now. I think they’re waiting to see what happens with this case.

Von is the only sure difference maker we have in the front seven. Chubb might get there but not now.

I think the case may be a holdup yes, but I really don't think Vons cap hit is a big deal. As you said no one out there at his spot is better in the draft or FA, only way it make sense not to pick his option up is we are full court press on Watson.

    keep an eye on dre'mont. . .
“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

It very hard for DE in 2 Gap system to be true difference maker. Those guys are really really rare.

The Texans, for whom Watson threw all but 2 of their passes, was just 27th in passing attempts. In spite of the lack of opportunities, the Texans were 4th in passing yards (4538), 8th in passing TDs (33), 2nd in fewest INTs thrown (8), and 1st in net yards per passing attempt (7.6). https://www.pro-football-reference.c...s/htx/2020.htm

So, if you want to look to burn someone at the stake for the Texans' 4-12 record, you should look somewhere else. I'd start with now former GM/HC Bill O'Brien before moving on everyone else who was responsible for their D that finished in the bottom 3rd of nearly every statistical category.

He’s up and coming but he’s not a edge rusher and honestly he’ll never be Von level even at his position. But I do like him and think he’ll be a factor. I just hope we can bring back Casey at a cheaper deal because that guys wrecks havoc in the interior.

Excuses. Like I said he’s a good quarterback and that’s it. Not elite and not a game changing will to victory type of guy.
