I think this is highly unlikely. I really do believe Teddy is here as a fail-safe and nothing more.

- Sutton out for the season
- Fant in and out of the lineup with nagging injuries
- as soon as he gets in synch with Albert O, he gets IR’d,
- Cushenberry struggling mightily early on dragging the whole line down at the same time Risner decides to have a sophomore slump
- a revolving door at RT
- a RB controversy from the start (do we play fumbling Gordon because he can pass protect or do we play can’t get a yard on 3rd and one and often hurt Lindsay?)
- two rookie WRs, both that have huge drop and concentration issues and one of them in and out of the lineup nursing a bad hammy
- a new offense for everyone with no offseason
- an OC that continues to not try to fit the offense to his young QB, WRs, and Oline and continues to call 3 WR sets with no play action putting more pressure on the young QB
- a QB coach who obviously can’t seem to get his starting QB check the ball down on occasion so we must rely on the 3rd string QB to “coach” our starter.

There are other things, but I’m tired of typing. Let’s just say I don’t think it was a fluke that Lock went 4-1 in the games he started in 2019 and tanked pretty hard early last year. People keep talking about our offensive “talent”. I have yet to see any of it outside of Sutton, and now Bolles truly reach its potential. What we have right now is a big ass piece of fine marble ready for sculpting. The David wasn’t sculpted overnight, and without the right Michelangelo, it never will be.

Exactly only in madden can you pull this off! Lock didn’t have some super high powered offense. The potential is there but they need to put it on the field and not paper aka development! All of them fant has to get in better shape to avoid nagging injuries that clearly slow him down, he should be pretty much unstoppable but he’ll get there, Albert O has great potential along with jeudy and hamler as well. Yes we are loaded with talent but there going and have stuff they have to do better before there considered a high powered offense being held back by lock. They all need to develop going into this season.

...or, they brought in Bridgewater because he is familiar with the Shurmur system and can run the show while a rookie learns the system.

FWIW, I don't think they make the investments that they did on defense to go this route, but...who the hell knows anymore.

So Lock's bad decision making was because of the injuries. Check.

They just need to keep dumbing down the playbook for Lock, he will be fine.
