Would this discussion been an issue if it was about Vontaze Burfict and not Bill Romanoski? Some players are just dirty players and Romo was. I'm not giving back two Super Bowl rings because he was on the team but, admit it, he was a dirty player who crossed the lines of good sportsmanship on a regular basis. He was a roided freak.
I miss the old Mile High Stadium.

I don’t need character to make this argument because “My concern is that he's not a player that projects to be a viable starter based on, well, literally everything he's done since being drafted” also applies to Tebow.

If Isiah Wilson wants to come to a group open tryout and workout for a training camp spot, sure. There has been absolutely nothing about his NFL career thus far to suggest that he is willing to work. Teams don't just cut their first round picks like that, especially not in a critical position like Tackle. If there was literally any way, whatsoever, that the Titans thought they could have salvaged Wilson's career, there is no way that they would have traded him after his guarantees were already voided.

The Dolphins gave him a chance. He showed up late to his physical. They offered him help to get his life on track. He turned them down. He showed up late to basic HR onboarding. The Dolphins wanted him to come to voluntary workouts to get to know his teammates and give the team a chance, he no-showed. If he doesn't want it, the Broncos organization won't be able to make him want it. Giving him an opportunity if his agent responds to an open tryout, and he shows up ready to work? Sure. Seeking him out and offering him even a "prove-it" deal? Hell no. He's in a spot in his career where he needs to get it together, and he needs to be the one booking workouts to prove himself, not the other way around.

Burfict was a POS too but both can play for me any time.

Burfict was average, the only thing he did was as lay the wood and majority of that was illegal. Dude took terrible angles in the run game consistently and couldn’t cover for nothing.

Yes, let's sign a guy who will be great for the one game he plays before another season long suspension! You basically want us to be the Al Davis Raiders. At least, that's what this schtick persona of yours wants, I'm still not convinced even you really believe half the shit you're spewing in this thread.

Yes, which is why I was happy he was replaced with a viable starter. Not sure how much clearer I could be on this point.

But yes, speaking of fairytales, please to keep clinging to this fairytale that a guy who has played in 3 games ever, who has been cut by 2 teams that were paying him nothing, and has shown zero interest in playing football would come to the Broncos and magically be set straight and be an all pro player. You want to talk about a fairytale? That's the definition of one.
