Peyton needs to be in the ring of fame and 18 should be co-retired with Tripuka instead of Manning just being a footnote.

In the days since receiving the news that he had been elected as a first-ballot Pro Football Hall of Famer, Manning took the opportunity to call several of those players to express his gratitude.
"I called John Elway," Manning said. "I called Dan Marino, Troy Aikman, Brett Favre — just to kind of let them know [the news] and to say how thankful I am to be on the same team as them and kind of the role and the impact they've had on me, either [from] studying them or talking to me after a game, whatever it may be. I'm honored to be a part of their fraternity."

I hope with his induction here's more for our Boys than the Colts though I know it's unlikely.

Peyton Manning and John Lynch, longtime competitors, formed a friendship at the Pro Bowl with talks about the game's nuances that admittedly bored their wives to exhaustion. Greatness is found in boredom, the desire to wring the most out of every practice rep and every detail out of another competitor's brain.
Having a few drinks didn't hurt either.
"We billed those to a rookie at the Pro Bowl who was there for the first time. I think one year it was a kicker from Buffalo," Manning deadpanned Sunday during a press conference.

Seen a headline that said Broncos quarterback Peyton manning makes HOF! Lol and the same for Lynch. I find it funny that it seems like players come to Denver and damn near adopts the team and city as there own as if they were always here!

The challenge was so tough because of the target.
How do you keep a secret from Peyton Manning, who was perhaps the sharpest NFL player of his generation?
Pro Football Hall of Fame president David Baker called Broncos Chief Communications Officer Patrick Smyth to try to figure out how he could surprise Manning since the knock-on-the-hotel-door tradition couldn't continue this year.
According to 9NEWS' Mike Klis, Smyth then talked with Manning's wife, Ashley. She mentioned that coaches always held a special place in his heart, and then the plan started to take shape. Smyth coordinated for several of his former coaches — former University of Tennessee head coach Phillip Fulmer, former Tennessee offensive coordinator David Cutcliffe, former Colts coaches Tony Dungy and Jim Caldwell and former Broncos head coach Gary Kubiak — to come to Denver.

Congratulations both, very well deserved. Very happy to be able to watch both play during their careers but especially their time here in Denver.
