Third best quarterback in Broncos history.

I remember one Monday Night Football. Plummer's offense scored 28 points in the 1st quarter against the Raiders. The score was 28-0 in the 1st quarter. Amazing!

Never posted a losing record with Den

Had Shanny never drafted Cutler, the whole trajectory of the 2000s may have changed with a few more years of Jake

He could lose a game in infuriating fashion. I dont Think he was the gamer people gave him credit for.

He wasn't bad before his puny frame was chewed up by the NFL!

I think he did love the game and he liked to play, the problem is he wasnt a student of the game which is a lot different. Plummer even admitted as much that when Shanahan tried to get him to do more to up his game he felt like it was more like a job than a game and he had lost the passion for it. Which is fine of course as each player approaches their life in football in different ways but the reality is the NFL is a job and in order to be the best at your respective position you have to put in the work which isnt always fun. Im happy that Jake was able to leave on his own terms but no one will ever convince me that he was more than a middle of the pack QB who had just as many INT's as he did TD's. Thats not greatness to me but he was fun to watch at times and as you said frustrating to watch others.

I'd take Trev over any QB Den trotted out other than Lock. Flacco? Keenum?

Cutler or Tebow over Trev any day of the week. I'd even Orton over Trev. 2015 relief Brock over Trev. Trev just wasn't good.
