What is there to be surprised with? People have been bashing (or blasting) Cutler and Plummer in this thread. People have criticized other Bronco QB's on this forum for their play and what not why is Hinton excluded from that? I dont care how he got the gig nor if he was a legitimate QB or not. Facts are he played a terrible game and its fine to state so.

It just seems weird to call the guy a "loser". What he was asked to do was all but impossible. 99% of players in the league would have been a "loser" if put in the same situation. Plummer and Cutler were paid a lot of money to play QB, so criticizing their QB play is fair. Seems a little unfair to bash a guy who isn't even a QB and was barely even on the PS for being thrown into an impossible situation and not playing well.

If anything I thought the coaching staff were the losers in that game. They had Hinton throwing down the field instead of giving him some easy bootlegs and dump off passes early to build some confidence. The game plan they had for him was awful.

And he did in fact not win which would in fact make him a... <clears throat and looks around>

Nothing like a good Jake the fake Plummer thread to divide the board again...

QBs with all "it" and no talent (such as Siemian or Pennington) are just as useless as QBs with all talent and no "it" (such as Jeff George, Jamarcus Russell, Paxton Lynch). You need both to be good. Splitting hairs over which you'd rather have is pointless. It's not an either or thing.
