i'm pleasantly surprised to see that many rational opinions there. . .
“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

I think we all know who's going to be the first to put Watson as his adopted Bronco!

Watson said he has zero interest in playing for the Broncos.

Yeah, if Woody's intel is good. No reason it wouldn't be, but disinformation is a thing.

That's fine. We ride with Lock. If it works with Stafford or Watson, great. If not, there's still hope for our guy. If our guy fails, keep at it.

I'm not so sure that the Watson/Stafford/Rodgers plan is ideal anyways. The teams really killing it are either a) playing TB12 at QB at a cap-friendly rate (someone get a forensic CPA and unravel the backdoor action there--$15mm for real??) or b) playing a QB on their rookie contract or on the team built around that rookie contract (Ravens, Bills, Chiefs, Seahawks, etc.)

We need to figure out how to draft and develop a QB, bottom line.

It’s cool I never wanted Watson anyway, nor did I want stafford... stafford has some nerve talking about he wants to play what in another done? Warm weather city? What a clown this guy is acting like playing in perfect climate in that dome has worked wonders for him or something. The dudes one of the biggest losers ever drafted! He should be wanting a fresh start with a team that’s legit instead of worrying about the climate he plays in, that alone says if he has to play in Buffalo, Kansas City, Tennessee in the playoffs when it’s obviously cold as hell he’s already got himself a built in excuse since he doesn’t like playing in cold weather.

I like Stafford a bunch in terms of his ability and competitive nature. He's a less pouty Cutler. But he hasn't shown that 'raise all boats' trait you find in the real winners, so maybe it's dodging a bullet.

OTOH, you always add Barry Sanders to your team if the price is right.

Exactly - he’s a good qb but lacks that that killer / winner trait. I wouldn’t hit him here but to me it’s Watson or bust.
