NightTrainLayne didn’t do anything to deserve suspension, he was just collateral damage to make it seem fair. They really just needed an excuse to take me out. Reverse the suspension on NTL. And release a list of words not allowed, as ridiculous as that concept is. Everyone knows who the real nasty posters are. And they aren’t the ones getting in trouble. That’s the funny part.

If they break the rules they will be banned. No “excuse” is needed to ban or remove anyone. The post is pretty clear, be civil or you will have access removed.

This is not your personal complaint thread nor will I listen to your demands or orders. Go read the first post In this thread again, please.

Your access will be restored Sunday. If you choose to post in P&R then be civil otherwise you’ll be removed again.

If I have to provide you with a list of words in order for you to understand how you should communicate with people you probably shouldn’t go back in P&R. Be civil, be respectful or you won’t be welcome in there any longer.

NTL has had his P&R suspension reversed. NTL explained his intent and we decided we were in error. This was due only to NTL’s PM to me and the mod discussion surrounding it, that remains the only way to appeal or change a suspension.

Please be mindful when posting in P&R, if your post can possibly be taken wrong, it most likely will be.

It is not OK to disparage entire groups of people because of their political beliefs.

If what you're about to post does any of the above, even if it's not blatantly an attack on one specific person, if that person falls into the group of people you're talking about then it is. Period.

It's pretty clear they want us to stop making things personal, period.

No reason we can't all disagree, even strongly, without making things personal. I think they've made it clear, if any of us do that we will get a vacation.

I don't think we need the list of words, because it kind of goes like:

What word are you planning to use? ____

OK, are you using _____ to disparage/impugn a poster or posters? Yes, then don't use it.

Back in the old days of the forum, we used to say, "focus on the post, not the poster" and I think this is just trying to get back to that. Disagree, and/or post counter opinion, with the opinion being expressed without making it about the poster or attacking/mocking/belittling (overtly or subtly) the poster.

you never provided a post that you deemed broke the rules in your pm to me. That is suspect. Because it wasn’t directed at a poster and you know it. You just didn’t like a word I used which in no universe would be considered bannable. Either way, NTL is reversed which was the real reason I am even still talking about this. Good choice

If you want to appeal send me a PM on why you think the mods were wrong and a discussion will take place. This is not the place. If you continue down this road here you will risk a full board ban for arguing moderator directives/decisions in the open forums.

I’ve already sent PM’s. They are being ignored. I have no other recourse

You sent a PM saying if “RINO” is considered a derogatory term you don’t want to be in P&R anymore. I said “fair enough”.

Sounds like resolution to me. Not getting what you want does not equal “ignored”.

I have sent 2 pms since then, one to you, one to the moderator team, do you want screen shots, do you not believe me, or are you just ignoring the PM’s? You asked me to address you all in pm ‘s to address my concerns and asked for an actual post that I made. And you aren’t addressing them because you know I will attempt to get a resolution in this thread, where you plan to ban me for it.
