The Texans currently have a mess on their hands. Their best way to clean it up could entail hiring Jim Caldwell to serve as the team’s next coach.

A buzz is building in league circles that Caldwell could be the next coach in Houston.
Caldwell got completely screwed by Detroit, and the Texans should be familiar with him from his time in their division. I actually think it would be a decent hire.

It is good for his brand and legacy. It is terrible for the Texans because of the late owner's (RIP) past remarks coupled with firing their PR director. Easterby is a New England guy that tries to run his office the same way Pioli did in KC (remember the candy wrapper story?).

I say hit em where it hurts until they fire this *******. He banged the table to trade Hopkins.

Well now they're bringing in Bienemy to interview for the HC spot. So Watson should be happy.

I don’t mind trading Hopkins, it’s getting peanuts in return that’s full of fail.

I think BOB traddd him for peanuts to prove a point ... because it’s the “Patriot Way”.

I guess man I’m just tired of all that shit in sports, especially since you don’t see any of these guys doing anything real in the street’s. Where’s there black owned cooperations? Trillions of dollars among these athletes and no black cooperations, no black Wall Street, just silly little slogans that do nothing to advance the people they claim to be for advancing. So while he’s faking talking about not being happy what some other man is doing on the issue what the hell is HE really doing other than running his mouth?

Not sure i buy into all this, a lot of players do things all the time for street kids, the homeless, etc. The slogans you speak of is actually all the big wigs for the NFL (in this case of discussion) who do all the surface talk. In terms of Watson he's been out there speaking on this and not just in the media.

Unless the point of the tweet was to highlight a racial/black issue why complain he's not advancing the black community with deeds?

I thought the tweet was to say a certain aspect of ownership/management was cancerous.
