You guys are funny.
Definitely agree with the Judge here. It doesnt have to go public but most certainly if you are going to file charges or allegations you need to let the judge (and the defendant) know who you are.

Yeah - it's called the Sixth Amendment (for criminal cases).
I'm not sure if it applies to civil cases, but imagine it would.
I think Watson and his defense team absolutely should know their identities. I'm torn on if it needs to be public info. The one woman who has gone public has received dozens of death threats and had her business flooded with negative Yelp reviews. Just a shitty situation all around.
Yeah either way someone or many someones will get publicly dragged unfairly over this. It wouldn't shock me if serveral of the cases get dropped (even if the women are 100% telling the truth) because they don't want to deal with the public torment they'll get when their names get out there.
He isn't and doesn't. The names of the accusers are anonymous in the Court filings and proceedings in order to protect and maintain their privacy, but Watson and his team are aware of the names and identities of the accusers. I assisted on a case here in late 90s or very early 2000s involving some Vikings players who had been shagging Hooters waitresses and "allegedly" gave the Hooters women STDs. The women sued the players and were identified in the Court filings and proceedings as Jane Doe 1, Jane Doe 2, etc. (one or more might have also been identified as Jill Doe).

Too bad she doesn't cheer for the Patriots dressed like this
Keep their names out of the public unless/until they are deemed not to be credible. Then they should be exposed. But not until then.

If a court determines that false claims were made, then I believe they should be subject to whatever comes their way. If their accusations aren't a blatant attempt at a pay day and there is some truth to their stories, then I believe society has already proven that they can't be trusted with their names.
This isn't necessarily what will or legally could happen. Just my view on things.
Damn Watson, why bro? Why would you take it there with these women? Why give them any type of ammo to come for you? There’s a million women that would give you whatever you want without all this and you have to go chasing these types.
