Yeah Elway definitely still has value in that regard. Whatever he did to close Manning he needs to use to charm Watson as well.

Flacco still has NFL starter talent, JFE ****** him over.

I mean, sure, but when you've got someone with a ceiling like Rypien on the roster you have to make some tough decisions.

CBS SPORTS: WATSON INTERESTED IN BRONCOS, 49ERS

Deshaun Watson is starting to play the field for the next franchise he wants to suit up for -- and he already has some potential suitors lined up. ESPN's Jeremy Fowler reported Friday that Watson is "intrigued by" the Denver Broncos and San Francisco 49ers. Fowler also asked about the New York Jets and Miami Dolphins since both teams have a lot of draft capital, but said Watson isn't as interested in the Jets as the other three teams.

Watson cooling on the Jets is the big news here (if true). Any logical person would. Miami makes the most sense. They have the draft picks (thanks to the Laremy Tunsil trade) a star DB (Xavien Howard) and a QB who they can try to develop (Tua) and Miami would still have a strong roster (and a black head coach). I just don't think Denver or San Francisco have the draft capital needed to pull off a deal.
I miss the old Mile High Stadium.

I definitely agree that if there is mutual interest between Miami and Watson, no one can match what they can offer. Tua and the 3rd pick plus whatever else they throw in is unbeatable.

Does not matter how much is offered. Watson has to sign off on it. Thats what matters. He is signing off on us (for now) That is what matters.
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

That's why I said "if there is mutual interest". If Miami is on the list of teams he'd ok a trade to, Miami is getting him.

Valid point, if Watson wants to win and thinks the Broncos give him the best chance than i could see him coming to Denver. We are far more talented at WR than Miami is.

We do not need to speak of such things.

Why any player would want to play for a Cheatriot disciple is beyond comprehension.

In other news, teams are checking in whether Seattle QB Russell Wilson is available after the organization took umbrage at some of what Wilson said in the past few weeks questioning personnel decisions. Like Watson, Wilson just signed an extension for a reported $140 million. Unlike Watson, Wilson is 31 and has a Super Bowl ring.

So, the wheel of fortune is now spinning for:
    Russell Wilson
    Deshaun Watson
Jared Goff (Lions rumored to want to flip him for picks)
    Mitch Trubisky
    Jimmy Garapolo
    Carson Wentz

with QB-desperate teams like Washington, the Jets, the Patriots, Da Bears, Da Iggles, maybe Carolina, maybe Oakland, maybe the Saints (if Brees retires) so it could be a wild spring leading up to Draft Day.
I miss the old Mile High Stadium.

Wow, the Lions want to flip Goff? Not that he is super great but they must be vying to try and trade up for Lawrence.
