I believe he led the league in passing...even after his star WE was dealt away

First Round Pick 2021, First Round Pick 2022, Second Round 2021, Drew Lock (really not much practical trade value, but remember Orton was part of the Cutler deal), Bradley Chubb would be absolute maximum price.

    Make this trade!

I’d give up this year’s first and second, next year’s first and a player not named Sutton, Fant, or Chubb. Anyone else is fair game.

Everyone is fair game. Get the QB. Build around him.

Yep. There literally isn't a player on this roster I'd consider untouchable if it got us Watson.

True, but trading away his weapons would put him right back where he is in Houston. Gotta keep some weapons for him to be successful.

Houston is in desperate need of a true WR1. They cut Kenny Stills. Will Fuller is hurt all the time. They have no receiving threat at TE.

My point exactly. I think he’d be upset if we traded someone like Sutton to the Texans for him.

Losing Sutton would hurt. But WRs are much easier to find. It would allow us to bring Patrick back with the 2 rooks. They'd have to want Lock to at least have something at QB since they'd have our #9 pick. A couple #1s, Lock and a couple of other pieces and I'd be fine with it.

We'd still have much more dangerous weapons than Houston when considering TE and RB

I think Sutton has been just as hurt as Fuller is. No need to even trade him at this point.

So if this becomes real...who is our competition?

    Atlanta?
    Detroit?
    Carolina?

Likely gonna be someone with a top 10 pick and possibly a QB to swap to allow for a learning curve.

Miami could offer Tua and 3 and another first this year. That would be hard to top if they jump in.

Any of the teams a head of us outside of Jacksonville and Cincinnatti (and probably Miami) could make a trade for him.

Jets, Falcons, Eagles, Lions and Panthers all could use a QB and have a top 10 pick. They all have a "tradable" QB on the roster as well...

Miami is interesting because they have two picks in the top 20 - 3rd (from Houston, interestingly) and 18th.
