He has officially requested a trade. It'll be interesting to see who he lifts his no-trade clause for. Let the bidding war begin!

We don’t have a chance. Too many teams interested with way more draft capital and potential players. Someone is going to give up the ******* moon for Deshaun. Which will be funny because it will mean the team he goes to is going to have no future besides him for years.

The thing is that there aren't many teams in a position to win now with Watson that have the cap space for his massive contract and Watson will not rework his contract if he's smart. Watson has the leverage because of his no-trade clause. If some basement dweller team comes in with an offer, Watson can say "no" and shoot the deal down. Where Denver has an advantage is that they have a good roster in place on both sides of the ball and can afford his contract. Denver is also a very young team and a lot of their top talent is part of that youth. Denver can afford to cough up a couple years worth of first round picks and a player or two without severely hampering the future of the franchise to land Watson via trade.

Yea, people have to understand that (on the surface) this does not seem to be a "money" issue with Watson. He has problems with how the team is being built around him. So i highly doubt that he is looking for the highest bidder here and rather is looking for the best situation to "win" for him. Denver would be a good choice in that matter.
