As luck would have it. . . heh. . . we won't be travelling today as planned due to finding out our son was exposed to a Covid+ schoolmate. So now I can watch Saturday football!

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Recognition that something was off came instantly.

The shipment of the Broncos’ helmet decals with their throwback logo featuring an emboldened, orange “D” and an upright bucking bronco snorting a visible white cloud had just arrived. Chris “Flip” Valenti, the Broncos’ longtime equipment manager, knew there was a problem. Instead of a blue, or transparent, background to the horse inside the “D,” the backdrop mistakenly was white.

Valenti is a Picasso of sorts when it comes to Broncos’ uniforms, logos and decals. He has been known to tinker here and there. A stripe here and there, a slightly different shade of orange.

On the one hand, the new white background on these just arrived throwback helmet decals – which the team used from 1968-1996 -- helped pop the orange “D.” Problem was, the white background also made the white buckin’ bronco disappear.

By the way, we haven't been mathematically eliminated from the playoffs. After all, we do have the head-to-head tiebreaker vs. the Dolphins & Patriots. We'll also have the conference record tiebreaker vs. the Ravens & Raiders if everything goes the way we need it to.

Broncos: Need to win out
Dolphins & Ravens: Need to lose out
Raiders: Need to beat the Dolphins next week, then end the season losing to us.
Patriots: Need to beat the Dolphins this week, then end the season losing to the Bills or Jets.

Actually, I think I'd have better odds winning the Powerball tonight

Good discussion on Lock right now on NFL Network and Steve Smith is actually placing blame on Shurmur and his inconsistent playcalling instead of on Lock himself. Irvin said it was more on Lock but that the potential is there to be a franchise guy.

I just found out the game is on the NFL station that I don't have. So am I just out of luck for watching it today? I torn between wanting to or could it be bad. It's hard to know these days. please dm if there is another choice
