    Here's your chance to shine.

I don't even know mine, but I knew I had to make the thread.

Fallen - Somehow a Denzel Washington movie falls into this category. If you like thrillers and horror movies, this is your jam.

    Vampire Hunter D Bloodlust

I'll have to check Communion, those other two are freaking bulleyes--precisely what I had in the back of my mind when the thread idea occurred.

It’s actually the best Christopher Walken performance in my opinion. And nobody has seen it. Such a shame . Terrifying movie

Here's 5 I can think of for now along with some clips to give an idea of the film:

Wonder Boys: A GREAT dark comedy that they just don't make anymore starring Michael Douglas, Tobey McGuire, and Robert Downey Jr. with some seriously well written dialogue.

The Gate: My most rented movie of the 1980's for sleepovers. A kid-centered horror flick that doesn't dumb down the story or creepiness for the target audience.

Freaked: The most out of left-field horror-comedy I've ever scene starring Alex Winters (from Bill and Ted), Randy Quaid, Mr. T, and Keanu Reeves. If I didn't track down this movie on Youtube I'd have sworn it was a fever dream.

Nightmares (1983): I LOVE horror anthologies like Creepshow and Tales from the Darkside but this was a favorite and seemed to get overshadowed.

The King of Kong: I love video games and when I was growing up I caught the end of the early 80's stuff and was a teen during the 90's resurgance thanks to fighting games like Street Fighter 2 and Mortal Kombat. This documentary captures that spirit of competition in a disarming way by way of a school teacher looking to break a record in Donkey Kong who catches the ire of a former 80's video game champion named Billy Mitchell who looks like Jesus with an American Flag tie. You can watch the whole thing here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4zhMlFOyZvQ or watch the clip below.

    The Spanish Prisoner (1997)
"We saw it…. the hussars let loose their horses. God, what power! They ran through the smoke and the sound was like that of a thousand blacksmiths beating with a thousand hammers

They rush on to the Swedes! They crash into the Swedish riters…. Overwhelm them! They crash into the second regiment - Overwhelmed! Resistance collapses, dissolves, they move forward as easily as if they were parading on a grand boulevard

If any of these movies were good, they wouldn't be unknown. I've rated the thread 3 stars, and am willing to go lower.
