    Default Raiders Week

Broncos awarded CB De'Vante Bausby off waivers

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Broncos have been awarded cornerback De'Vante Bausby off waivers from the Arizona Cardinals, the team announced Tuesday.

The Broncos placed tight end Albert Okwuegbunam on injured reserve in a corresponding roster move.

Denver placed a waiver claim on the veteran cornerback, who appeared in four games for the Broncos earlier this year before being waived. Although he is a veteran, all players are subject to waivers after the trade deadline.

Not on wire today: Broncos DL Shelby Harris coming off COVID reserve. He's spent full week on virus list w/close contact from someone outside building who later tested positive. Vic Fangio said yesterday he hoped Harris would return to practice by Wednesday. We'll see. #9sports

Melvin Gordon's court case on DUI/speeding has been moved at his attorney's request from this Friday to Dec. 14, when it's set for plea hearing. Broncos would have 3 gms left after that and he's facing 3-game NFL suspension. Not sure if that's enough time for NFL to rule #9sports

Jerry Jeudy nominated for NFL Rookie of the Week honors after #DENvsATL

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — After the most-productive performance of his young career, Jerry Jeudy has been nominated for the NFL's Rookie of the Week award for Week 9.

To vote for Jeudy, click here.

Jeudy posted career bests in receiving yards and receptions as he caught seven passes for 125 yards and a touchdown. It was the first 100-yard game of his career.

Only four Broncos rookies in franchise history have posted more receiving yards in a single game.

Shelby tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday, he'll miss Sunday's game against the Raiders

I'm sure someone mentioned this elsewhere, but figured it should be here as well

push the suspension into next year, then cut him in the off-season-- let it be somebody else's problem. . .
“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

    Broncos at Raiders

The Broncos designated CB Bryce Callahan (ankle), T Demar Dotson (groin, hand), WR Jerry Jeudy (shoulder), T Jake Rodgers (shoulder), and WR Diontae Spencer (shoulder) as questionable for Sunday. LB Joseph Jones (calf) will be out.

The Raiders have three players on this week’s injury report. DT Maurice Hurst (ankle) is out, LT Kolton Miller (ankle) is doubtful, and G Gabe Jackson (illness) is questionable.

would really help if callahan and dotson can play. . .

Damn we lost Albert O for the year as well, this is like the most unfortunate team I’ve ever witnessed when it comes to key guys being injured man.
