Default Guess who the Bears signed?

    Our old buddy, Kyle Sloter:

With Drew Lock struggling, this signing does stick out. I still believe that Elway shouldn't have gotten rid of this guy.

"With Drew Lock struggling". If you think what we've seen from Drew so far is "struggling" I think you'll be let down by Sloter. You know, like the four other teams in addition to the Bears that have signed him.

Literally the entire basis for his hype is that he hit a couple of wide open deep shots late in a preseason game. It's unbelievable to me that still has people clamoring for him years later. I think if he were good one of the half a dozen teams to bring him in would have seen it.

Bring back that Kelly kid. He wasn't the answer either but at least he could stay in the news.

Meanwhile, feel free to throw away a second-round draft pick after a dozen career starts.

Chad Kelly is not at all going to be a starter but a career backup. Just saying!

This is wrong, we liked Sloter because he demonstrated literal NFL skills, progressions, looking of S’s ... along with legitimate NFL talent. It meant nothing that he did this against future cell phone salesmen.

There’s a reason teams keep bringing him in, because he’s demonstrated NFL talent and skills, it’s not hype (other NFL couldnt care less what Broncos fans think of QB’s ... which is smart).

This isn’t Case Rypien Scrubby-Coach-On-The-Field-Type, Sloter is a legitimate developmental prospect.

Lol he's been in the league for, what, 3 or 4 years now? Eventually he has to do something right? If he hasn't developed into anything yet, he probably isn't gonna.
