Default Jeudy still showing Ruggs up

    https://www.mercurynews.com/focus-on...in-rookie-race

I know there were lots of debates back and forth about what the best receiver would be and I always felt it came down to Jeudy or Lamb. Right now it's Lamb Jeudy Jefferson Claypoo and Higgins And everybody else is way behind.

Jeudy is really starting to come into his own and it’s beautiful, you can tell him and lock are starting to gain chemistry, as well as hamler. The year for this team to take off for me was always next year, I expected it to be ups and downs. Realistically this offense is just way too young to be consistent and didn’t have enough time together due to covid. Even if there was no covid restrictions next year was still going to be it for me. Just watch next year how Drew and this offense takes off and we’ll actually be a good TEAM with a healthy defense that’s already ready to win.

Jeudy’s ball skills are piss-poor, almost as bad as his attitude, I don’t see him ever making the kind of catch Lamb made today. He’d just watch it go by and bitch his QB out.

This isn't actually off base.....he has elite route running and separation skills, but he has had drops, concentration errors and a bit of a crybaby about him when he is open and doesn't get the ball.....I think he will be good, but I was all about Jefferson in rd. 1 trading back a bit to get him and a extra pick to help our OL and I still think we should have done that.

DT dropped passes all the time and it turned out fine. Jeudy will be ok.

We will see his ball skills as jaded alluded to are less then desirable at this point but coachable and he is a rookie, the drops...well rookie focus etc. can be the cause since he didn't have a big history in college, but the whiny shit he did is for the birds....I hope he turns out, pretty confident he will but he has work to do. In the end those of us that wanted Lamb, Jeudy or Jefferson over Ruggs were all right so far lol.....

I just hope Jeudy can get a full offseason and 16 games with the same QB next year. I still think he'll be special.

I would wager a full-offseason of Sutton, Jeudy and Hamler will be lethal for next year with Lock especially if Drew is healthy and gets some good coaching and reps next off-season.....
