Im talking about on this forum.
Furthermore, i know for a fact many of you all bitching and moaning about the criticisms that Lock is taking were the same silly bitches whining about Tebow the entire time he was playing. I think a lot of you need to look into the mirror when pointing fingers about Bronco fans being impatient with QB's. Even more, you guys keep bringing up the 9 games but then put Rypien on full blast for playing 1 game? LOL GTFOH
And no, this isnt an endorsement for Rypien to play. In fact, no one on this board has called for Lock's benching or have been clamoring for Rypien to start. But at least if you guys are going to whine about the 9 games thing at least be consistent about it when applying to other QB's here. I would suggest reading the article i posted because the author was pretty balanced in his take about what could be done if Lock doesnt work out. The author makes it a point to say that he hopes Lock works out (which is true) but that if for some reason he doesnt progress at least Denver would have some options come the end of the year.
If Jaded is spending time worrying about those who want Rypien to start maybe he should step away from the keyboard for a while so that he doesnt get triggered so easily. Rypien wouldnt have done much yesterday either but then he's not the guy we are banking on to be the future of this franchise. But if people are going to put former Bronco QB's on full blast with only a few games under the belt and then cry when Lock takes similar criticisms than they really need to sit down and shut the **** up and quit being hypocritical.

i find that i've benefitted from stepping back and taking a couple deep breaths. . . some other folks apparently need to do the same. . . it was just one game, and i personally am going to write it off as an aberration. . . IMO, a really young team got over-awed in a big (at least for us) division game. . . they knew they were playing the champs, they knew they haven't beaten those guys in forever, and they let it get in their heads. . . that was really the first game this year that they haven't shown up ready to play-- they came out super tight, and it showed right from the start. . . lock in particular was pressing horribly-- i really think he was feeling the pressure to match mahomes big play for big play, and it lead him to make dumb throws trying to play hero ball. . . while the chiefs just sat back, ran their offense, and waited for us to implode. . . hopefully shula and shurmur are going to use it as a teaching moment with drew, to hammer home the importance of playing within the offense, taking what's available, and making the right play. . . if he just throws to the open guys underneath, it's a different game. . . i told y'all before the season started that this offense wasn't going to be significantly better than the last few years in the early months of the season-- expectations were just set too high for such a young group with no veteran leadership, no real off-season, and a new system. . . that's been compounded by the injuries, and lack of reps between lock and the new weapons. . . building timing is a process-- it's going to take a while, and the defense will have to take up the slack. . .
more concerning to me were the continued special teams gaffes, and the multiple turnovers from the one vet on offense. . . those shouldn't be happening, and i don't think corrective action is over-reacting in those cases. . . given the distribution of carries before phil got hurt, i do think the coaching staff has figured out (as predicted) that he's the more impactful back, and should be used as the primary ballcarrier. . . hopefully he doesn't miss more time with the concussion. . . also, they could fire the ST coordinator tomorrow as far as i'm concerned, because this is the worst that unit has been since the brock olivo dumpster inferno. . . otherwise, now is the time to stay the course, let the youngest offense in the league continue to grow, and focus on player development across the board. . .
- John Elway“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”
