Multiple QBs doesn't help. Lowest catch rate among top 50 WRs in league (by yardage) is odd. I'm still a believer but Jefferson and Lamb have better stats.

I don't have a point, but if I did, it's that Jeudy has come out the gate with a bit of a stumble, yet looks strong, and doesn't have the results of his draft class-mates.

Then Lock returns, and who has the big game? Was it because Jeudy was taken out by BB?

Jeudy - first trimester report card

I didn't even know he was pregnant. I guess that explains the drops. Probably has morning sickness too, poor guy.
I miss the old Mile High Stadium.

I have been disappointed, its clear he has the route running chops and athleticism, but he has struggled a bit with separation on some routes, and his drops have been killer. He also has been double teamed a bunch so that could be in play as well. I th8ink he will trend back up with Lock.....I'm not worried long term......

Isn't that what they call it when you break it into three chunks of time? Instead of semester? Maybe not. Maybe it means 3 months. But I like what y'all have dne with the place.

If you wanna give Jeudy a fair shake at things, let's compare Jeudy's and Lamb's upcoming 3 games stats. Lamb will have a backup QB just like Jeudy had.

Eh, I’m not gonna try to compare these first year WRs too much. Different situations, different schemes, different QBs. Dallas and Minnesota throw a shitload more often than Denver does. Jeudy has had some trouble with the drops, admittedly, but with our injuries, he’s also been drawing more coverage than Lamb or Jefferson who are the clear cut #2 on their respective teams (To Thielen and Cooper). Maybe that’ll change the next 2 weeks with the emergence of Patrick as a legit threat, but Patrick has seen a lot of single coverage the lat 2 weeks while Jeudy gets bracketed or Safety help on most plays. Not trying to make excuses. Let’s just take it for what it is and see how it goes for the rest of the season.

I dont like his hands at all. I can see him being a legit stud. But it will probably be next year. Hands are way too suspect right now. After that, he looks to be amazingly baller.
    The Plan at the moment:

Draft: Trade a 3rd and 6th this year to a team to move up and get a 2nd next year (this will happen).

    Players I want:
Jake Ferguson (Jake Butt) or Jelani Woods or Jeremy Ruckert or Cade Otten (owen daniels) at TE- All 4th rd or later.
Troy Anderson LB 3rd/4th rd (yay Timmy!)
Neil Farrell, JR DL- run stuffer- bye purcell

Definitely would have preferred we drafted Jefferson but hope it turns out well for Jeudy.

That TD against the Jets was all I needed to see. He'll be fine. When Sutton is back next year to draw coverage away from Jeudy, Jeudy gonna eat.

eh. . . you gotta be patient with WRs, they can take some time to develop. . . you can't make any serious judgement this early in the process. . . but if we were to, frankly, he's been a disappointment so far-- the skills are obvious, but dude needs to catch the ball if he's going to realize his potential. . . i'm not that down on him as a player, but i didn't like the pick when we made it, and i still don't-- you don't need to take a wideout (particularly a slot guy) that high in a draft that's amazingly deep at the position-- it's just not great value. . . we should've traded up two spots for wirfs, or taken patrick queen-- i said it on draft day, and i'm sticking to it. . .
“When we do find that guy, we’ve got to have the continuity on the offensive side to where we can train him and develop him and get him there. This is our fourth offense in probably three or four years. Quarterbacks need to be developed. You don’t find one ready-made. We got to have a solid system in place for when we do go after whatever guy it may be, a young guy or a trade or whatnot.”

He’s the most explosive player the Broncos have had for some time. They need to find ways to get him into space. Doing this after the New England game is sort of bad timing. Belicheck loves to take away an asset from a team, and with Sutton, Fant and Gordon out, I think it’s pretty clear his game plan was to blanket Jeudy. Thus, Patrick probably had his best game as a Bronco, and Lindsay had some space to run at the second level.

Officially he’s had two drops in the last four weeks, so I think we have to see that first game as more of an outlier. I don’t even remember his drop against New England, but apparently there was one. Of the concerns, that might be the one, but he’s an explosive wide receiver and it’s pretty easy to see why he went in the first. I’d like to see Shurmur build an entire week’s game plan around him more. It seems like Fangio wants Shurmur to game plan around Gordon and Lindsay, and it’s worked the last two weeks, but Elway got you some toys, utilize them.
*The statements above are my opinions, unless they are links, because then they are links, which wouldn't make them my opinions, and I suppose stats aren't necessarily opinion, but they are certainly presented to support an opinion. Proceed accordingly.

This was what was considered his drop against the pats. That was probably a tough enough catch not to be officially counted as a drop, but it's probably one that someone with his talent could have pulled down.
