How is picking in or around the top 10 every year working out for the Jags, Jets, Bengals, Browns, Lions...

You’re right, you got me, they should trade out if the Top 10 instead of drafting better talent.

My point is that there's no correlation between teams picking in the top 10 a lot then suddenly becoming winners. The best franchises don't get that many high picks.

I didn’t say there was any correlation, I’m saying I’d rather draft Top 10 than go 8-8, it doesn’t have to mean anything more than that.

    And I'm saying that's dumb.

I get that a lot, but that’s not what you were saying, you were saying “I’m a winner and you suck at life”.

And like I’ve told you before, I’m cool with this, I know I’m a pack of one, but here’s the thing; I’m so bad at life that I’m flat out over meaningless wins. I will never celebrate 8-8 again.

I understand your mediocre ideology, I lived it too, but I’ve moved on.

I'm willing to ride out the year and then look back to look forward instead of being reactive game-to-game at this point. Brutal schedule so far and at least the teams the Broncos should beat (I now include New England in that retrospectively) they did. I think teams like the Chargers and Raiders in our division are going to be better measuring sticks than some of the elite teams we have lost to so far. Rebuilding year either way, lets make sure Lock is NOT the guy by the end of the season and go from there. We got beat in 2/3 phases yesterday, lets see if they can adjust in better circumstances against a more evenly matched team next week. If Herbert lights up our defense and we have no answers on offense good lord we might be in trouble though...

I hope Fangio fires this offensive coaching staff too.

It's good for a young QB to see as many offensive systems as possible.

Like transplanting a young sapling every year. They may never grow much but they get sturdy and resilient. If they live.

Maybe we could go through 2 OCs/QB coaches per year to accelerate his adversity?
